I took my car in to have it scanned at a local repair shop. The scan returned error code 14 (ignition).

Since I have already changed the coil and condenser, I figured it could be the igniter module.

An OEM unit was not available, so I managed to source a generic unit.

On comparing the two, I noticed that the original has a port labelled F (has a yellow wire), and T (has a blue wire), but on the new unit, the label is + SG -.

Can anyone tell me.

Which wire goes where between the F & T (old unit) and the + and - (new unit)?

You may want to revisit this entire issue.

According to my research, you can buy the complete distributor w/module for less than cost of module alone.
So check with vendor you bought it from and see if complete dist. (Remufactured) is less or equal cost to just the module.

The vendor you purchased from should have pointed this out to you.

Thanks for the advice.

Unfortunately, the complete unit referb/new is not available anywhere near where I am, simply because my vehicle is an "import".

I could only get the bits and pieces that go inside it, hence the reason I bought the coil, rotor, igniter.
