Question:
I have a 1993 Toyota Corolla DX, Automatic Trans. W/ overdrive. Problem is that the speedometeronly works when your speed is above 40 mph and then it drops to zero, and even then it seems to be showing a greater speed than it is actually.
Any ideas what might be the problem?

Thanks, Wayne/SLTCA

Check the wires of your speedometer sensor socket their are three wires red blue must be placed at the back near the fire wall if you check it with a multimeter it must have a positive power; red green at the middle must have a negative power: red yellow is thespeed indicator
