Unusally smokey and decreased exceleration, black smoke coming out exhast mainly when reved or when started. Its an old car was sitting for a few years. Recently put petrol in it an got all smokey? Was thinking maybe its old/bad petrol but heard it could be valve seals? Not really to sure. Would running it threw the petrol be bad for it? Only got 1/4 tank left

oil change +filters(including fuel) done yesterday. Is there a safe way to drain your petrol tank or alternatly how much should I pay for a tank flush?

There are siphon devices to suction out fuel left in tank. However, some models have anti-siphon screens in tank so people can't steal your fuel. Your vehicle is rather old though so it shouldn't have a screen in it.

Some models also come with a drain plug in the tank but I am uncertain if your make/model vehicle is equipped with this.
