I own an 87 toyota celica gts hatchback with (suppposedly) 105000 miles. This is because the odometer does not move! And the speedometer is always at zero and does not move ! Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Some of the late 86's had a speedometer. If it is a later model and doesn't have a cable check the gauge fuse. If it is OK the instrument cluster is probably bad or perhaps the vehicle speed sensor.

Check the VSS take it out and re-stab it make sure it goes in all the way.
But 1st disconnect it turn key on, spin the VSS check the Speedo meter whether it wiggles if it does its coming from the insides of the VSS.
