I recently tried to start my car and I hear is a continous clicking noise. It sounds like it wants to crank to start the car, but nothing happens. Everytime I turn the iginition, the continous clicking noise lights up the instrument panel with the same amount of flicker as the noise.

I swapped batteries, but the noise remains the same and the car will not start. I replaced the starter and starter relay (both of which) I think are probably not at fault. Any ideas?

Make sure the battery has an open voltage of 12.4volts or better and cleaned/properly tightened. To include the battery terminal at the starter. Check the AM1 fuse 5amp and AM2 fuse 30amp. Also check for power in and out of the park/neutral switch at transaxle

If your car has a lot of load ( like power seat, seat memory program, heated seat, almost power to everything) make sure your battery has the hightest CA # reading. If not buy one from dealer. Hope that will work for you.
