2001 Toyota Camry idle speed

When I first start my car the idle drops so low that it sometimes dies but after driving for a while it is fine unless I let it sit fir more than 2 hours like at the store can anyone help

Hi there,

The engine idle speed is controlled by the ECU and a IAC valve, these can be checked by your dealer or local mechanic, also check for any vacuum leaks.
