I have a 2001 toyota camry I was driving it on my way home when it started to vibrate and shake rather bad in the front wheel section of the car my car vibrated before but only minor when traveling at speeds above 60. But this time it was very noticable the inside of the car was vibrating and the rear window was vibrating I pulled over and checked my tires and they were fine. I recently had my tires rotated and balanced at pep boys but my car drove smoothly after that.

Any bumps on the tires? How many miles are on the car, and check the front end parts lately? If the tires show scolloping you may need new struts at the four wheels! When the middle of the car shakes you have a problem in the rear, when the steering whell shakes it's the front, it seems to me you have both?
If the struts are bad it will allow the tires to bounce up and down. Thus wearing the scollop pattern into the tires, then at that point, the tires must be replaced as well as the struts.

If it happened all of a sudden (that's how i'm reading it) I would start by checking the suspension closely. Make sure to check the front lower control arm bushing. It wouldn't be uncommon for one to fall out and cause the wheel to shake.
