My camry was running great and when I put it in reverse to leave the shopping center I put the car into reverse and it would not move so I was decided to try to get it home it would pull in drive but it would go into second every now and then for the most part it would run in first and when it would try to shift to a upperward gear it would just completly die and be like you put the car in neutral.

Any transmission codes. If not, then I would say you need a trans.
