1997 Toyota Camry interior dome light cover

Silly question but we can't get the dome light cover off to replace bulb. I saw response on a 93 model, is it the same. We cant even find a slot to start with a flat head, hated to break it in the process. Thanks a million

Use a small sturdy pocket flat head screwdriver to force in between the lens and housing-then pry- it should boing off onto your head. You might leave a mark, but it shouldn't break, unless its really cold which makes plastics more brittle.
