The past week my car has been making an odd noise
where my thermostat is located and then one day while drving my car automatically stops when I apply more gas to the pedal. What could be the issue at this point. It dies like car out of gas which it has a full tank. It is still drivable under a slight push to the pedal under 40mph but to accelerate it dies. I'm drowning here guys, any help would appreciated.

Start by checking for any fault codes, and check fuel rail pressure. Start here.

When fuel pressure checks out start checking the idle air control valve, throttle position and MAF sensors.
