My car keeps blowing the fuse for the dash gages. This fuse allso makes the heater fan, back defroster, and windows work. Its a 7.5 fuse, I uped it to a ten and till blows. Hope someone can tell me why it blowing this fuse. Must be some king of over load I guess.

Since you know which things are powered by that fuse, try unplugging things one at a time until the fuse doesnt blow, this will tell you which circuit is the problem

I keep putting in the fuse 5 or 6 times. Afer that it started working again, but the trouble light came on again. Looked and had to replace the control box in trunk for the tail lights. Every thing works now but no back up lights

We have the same window, fan, blower and seat belt problems. My husband has checked every fuse he can find. He even replaced the ones that he understood were the key fuses. It still is not working. What are we doing wrong?

I had to replace the wires in trunk. Cut and repair the wires were the left hinge for trunks is. Over the years these wires had become broken. They make the car do all kinds of things fan motor, brake lights and dash gages. Just cut and peel back the insulation and look.
