While driving, the normal speed drops suddenly and comes back up to normal speed at rondom times. The speed goes up and down numerous times. This happened when I used 87 unload gas. It looks to me that the fuel injection needs to be cleaned or bad fuel pump. I would like to know how to change the fuel pump or what chemicals you recommend to use to clean the fuel injection. Please reply asap. Thank you!

Hi there

Fuel system cleaners in a can don't do the full job, the only way to service the fuel system is an on car cleaning system, or to have the injectors o/hauled. The fuel pup is an in tank unit. I would be replacing the filter and checking fuel system pressure before condemning a working pump.
