I have a P0172 and P0471 code on diagnostics, and at a redlight when trying to excelerate fast my engine bogs down heavily, and it takes a little distance before it begins to accelerate. Could it be the "System too rich (bank one)" and a possible Oxygen Sensor. The MAF sensor was changed at 120,000 miles during a tune up. Once repaired how can I reset the Check Engine Light?

Hi kenner and welcome to 2carpros

P0172
Possible causes include a bad O2 sensor, excessive fuel pressure (bad fuel pressure regulator or plugged return line), leaky fuel injectors, dirty air filter or restricted air inlet, or a defective coolant sensor that prevents the engine management system from going into closed loop mode.

P0471 Exhaust Pressure Sensor Range/Performance check the exhaust for restriction-could be the converter clogging up and creating excessure pressure or the sensor itself/wiring/computer

Once repaired how can I reset the Check Engine Light? Remove the EFI fuse for 10secs- or disconnect the battery
