My check engine light came on recently. I went to local parts house and they hooked it up to the diagnostic reader. The read out said low fuel supply to left bank. The gentlemen there said that was not fuel filter or injector problems. Any ideas what this could be before I have to take it in to a professional?

He is a little off. Lean supply on that bank. This is most commonly caused by a vacuum leak from a rubber hose, intake manifold gasket or even a oxygen sensor that is malfunctioning. Hope this helps
