1999 Toyota 4Runner Idling and starting

My vehicle will turn over and start but once I release the key the vehicle dies. If I press the gas the vehicle stays on but again once I release the gas it dies. Now It will stay started but the RPM's are very low and then it dies. What is wrong?

Check the mass air flow sensor, and idle air control valve, along with the mass sensor, check air filter, breather and pcv. Valve. But I think one of these two will clear it up
