Slips so bad car will not move. STARTED SLOW GOT WORSE. FORD said was torque converter Ford WANTS $1555 to repair it.I think the whosesale value is a bit much to charge. So how do I remove and replace this torque converter Billy Alford handof men@gmail. Com

You may think that sounds like a lot but after you have attempted to remove the transaxle on your own, you may have a whole different opinion on that.

The dealer isn't your only option here. Get some estimates from REPUTABLE trans shops and independent repair shops for the job.
