Costco said one of my tire's sensors wasn’t working, so I had them replace it along with the sensors in the other three tires because I had never replaced them before, and they recommended replacing all of them. The light on the dashboard is still showing low tire pressure and Costco is saying that it must be the main monitor system for the tire pressure. They said they do not do this type of repair. I have no idea what that is, where it is located, or how to fix it. What monitors the system pressure and where is it located? How can I repair or replace the defective equipment?
I have a spare tire under the bed that they tell me doesn’t have a sensor. It is a full-size tire.
I feel like I wasted my money having them replace these sensors.
Thank you for your help with this matter.

Hi,

First, make sure the tire pressures are accurate. If they are, there is a tire pressure reset we can try first.

To do this, push and hold the Tire Pressure Warning "SET" Switch for 3 seconds until the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light blinks 3 times and then turns OFF, indicating the system is now initialized. See pic below.

Let me know if that helps. Also, do you know if they programmed the new sensors?

Let me know.

Joe
