Recently had an issue with a bad camshaft on left head. I got set of used heads and installed them, have reset the timing several times and all I get is hard to start when I can get it started it runs real ruff and backfires through intake. Have three codes po016, po113 and po344. I am stumped. Please help

The 016 has to be set by a mechanic with a scanner auto parts one cannot do it. That means camshaft is not in sync with crankshaft. The one code is for a diesel and not a gas vehicle but it is electronics the last code may go away when the code 16 is taken care of.
