Thinking about buying used Acura MDX

I am looking to buy pre-owned, high mileage car. I have heard that luxury cars like BMW's, Volvo's, etc can be more expensive to repair than Honda's and Toyota's. In your experience, is an Acura more costly (like a luxury name) to fix than your average Honda or Toyota, even though they are made by Honda? Thanks!

It is not going to be like a BMW, Volvo, Mercedes etc. But when you get the Lexus and Acura you would think oh it is just a Honda or Toyota. But not the case a lot of times the parts etc are expensive. I know on the Lexus a lot of the parts they do not make aftermarket ones so they can get expensive buying factory ones. I am doing all the parts but a lot of parts are that way.

I understand. So you think I would be better going the Honda or Toyota route? Something where the parts wont be so much?

Honestly, that would probably be a better route as far as parts and repairs go. I have seen some crazy prices for parts on those Lexus and those were not that new of one's.
