I have the SUV listed above XLT model. The immobilizing component the ignition immobilizer in component was taken off the ignition cylinder and the original key with a transponder chip in it was taped to that module so that the contact would make with the ring that goes around the transponder module. My wife was trying to take the key away from that module and she ripped the a wiring that goes to the the ring from the module itself. So now my car is stuck in anti-theft mode and I can't get it started. I need to know what I need to do to the proper steps so that I can remove this old one that has been damaged and replace it with a new one. My car is in a bad part of town and it is disabled. I need to get it fast. Is there anything you could tell me to get it to start so that I can move it from where it is or anything will help?

The transceiver ring/module will have to be replaced. There is no "quick fix" unfortunately that will enable the key status in the anti-theft (pats) module.
