At first there was a check engine light coming on, and it would spit the code P0715, but I cleaned up the sensor and put it back (yes, the pulse generator not the three prong. I accidentally changed the three prong and got laughed out of Mazda when I was told I am part of the 98% of people who buy the wrong sensor lol) and the check engine light went away, but now it will rough shift in-between 3-4 gear and the AT light will come on for a moment and then disappear. The radio dash will also glitch. It has a little bit of rough idling, awful gas. I'm talking like, half a tank will take you 30 miles and back and that's it. The oil is disappearing with no trace on my pavement.

Note - I bought this car after it had driver side front end damage (nothing too serious but enough to knock the light out and completely destroy the bottom airflow box) so I'm wondering if this is a wiring harness. And how could I diagnose that? I don't really want to spend 200+ to go somewhere where they won't really look. I have a multimeter; I checked the pulse generator, and it was sending a resistance of 350. Not sure if that's the correct amount needed?

The P0715 code indicates an issue with the Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit. The resistance seems too low for the pulse generator, it should be 500 to 1,500 ohms. You must a defective part. I would get another one and try it, also clear the codes once the job is complete. Please start new questions for the other issues the car has, here is the locations of the input shaft sensor (two wire) so we can be on the same page. You may have a weak intermediate sensor as well. Here is that location as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I just replaced the pulse generator, and deleted the code so fingers crossed that, the problem is done for!
In the meanwhile, I have this glitching, any idea what it could be?
I have one more question after this.

The AT light came back on and started to shift erratically while I was driving.
AT light started to flicker while in park and when I went to shift to reverse. And idea what I could check next?
