2005 Suzuki Verona timing chain cover

With the engine mounts off and the engine lifted, what is the best way to get the timing cover back on without smearing the rtv and insuring the proper seal between the oil pan, engine block, and the head?

Try putting the rtv on the engine instead of the timing cover. Just a guess though, I havent personally done one yet
