Does anyone know what this is called or how I can repair it? It is on the front driver's side. I can find every part of the suspension for sale except this piece.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros. Com.

If you are referring to the rubber component, that is called a coil spring seat insulator.
Moog makes an aftermarket one. I believe the part number is (Moog) K160041.

Look that part number up and let me know if that is what you are looking for.

Take care,
Joe

I have already ordered that part. I am talking about the part that the bar is connected to and broken at. It is hard to see but it is in front of the rubber part. The spring is actually sitting inside of the hole where the part holding the arm broke off. (The picture keeps loading upside down for some reason)

Hi again:
That part isn't an available. The only suggestion I can give is to have a coil mount removed from a salvage vehicle and have it welded on to your vehicle. It will not be an easy job. Also, if you decided to have that done, make sure you find someone qualified to do the welding. That holds the weight of the vehicle and you do not want it to break while you are driving.

I wish I had an easier answer. I have seen coil spring mount repair kits, but I have no idea how well they work. Google "2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Coil Mount repair kit. I know you will find them.

Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.

Joe

Sorry for the bad news. I live in PA and we constantly deal with rust issue. I'm not sure where you are located, but my guess is you get snow and the roads are treated.

Take care,
Joe
