1998 Subaru Outback exhaust

I have a small hole in the flange which appears to be connected to rear catalac converter. I would like to sell car in next 2 months and don't won't to invest a lot of money. Any tips on how to fix flange without having to replace converter?

Hi there,

Depending on how thick the rusty section is you may be able to get it welded up, don't use putty's or muffler bandages, as these don't work for very long.
