'01 Subaru Forester manual transmission

Trying to change the transmission. I've removed everything that is "in the way, " taken out all the bolts and yet the transmissin STILL won't slide out. HELP please.

Auto or standard?If its an auto did you disconnect the torque convertor bolts?Any ways Subaru transmissions can hang up on the dowel pins as well. Try some penetrating oil, the other trade secret is to use a punch and hammer on the dowel pins to break up any corrosion that is causing the trans to hang up.
