my car makes a whisteling noise, it doesn't do it when the car is going at a slow staedy pace but assoon as you start to spead up or change gears it starts to whistle it almost sounds like it screaming at you, do you have any ideas what it could be?

Hi chazamum. Welcome to the forum. If this sounds like an airplane engine, it is most likely a noisy wheel bearing. If it changes when you turn slightly such as when changing lanes, it is definitely a wheel bearing. Another clue is the noise will not change when you push in the clutch and let the engine idle at highway speeds. If the noise does go away when the engine slows down, suspect an idler pulley for the serpentine belt.
