1995 Subaru Impreza 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Okay so I have a 95 Subaru Impreza, the igntion lock went out on me and I'm trying to replace it. I bought a new one from the dealership, but I cannot figure out how to remove the old one, I bought a Chilton's Repair Manual which didn't have any information about it. I also have tried using google. No help there either. So my question is how do I remove the ignition lock and tumbler so I may replace it?

Remove steering column (details below).
Cut off bolt connecting upper and lower portions of ignition switch. Remove ignition switch. To install, reverse removal procedures. Tighten connecting bolts until heads twist off.

STEERING COLUMN:
Disable SRS. Mark shaft and "U" joint for reassembly. Remove "U" joint clamp bolt. Remove trim panel and air duct from under instrument panel. Separate shaft from "U" joint.
Unplug ignition switch and combination switch connectors. Remove upper and lower bracket bolts. Remove steering column toward passenger compartment.

To install, insert column through floorboard into "U" joint. Install and tighten upper bracket bolt into instrument panel.
Install air duct and trim panel.
Install and tighten lower column bolts. Connect electrical connectors. Tighten "U" joint clamp bolt. Reactivate SRS. Check operation of steering wheel and switches.
