I have a noise coming from what sounds like my tires, only in the front end. It kind of sounds like something is rubbing which makes a weird noise. It use to only make the sound when I turn my wheel all the way to the left but now it does it no matter what. And when it's warmed up it doesn't make the sound at all. What is this weird noise? Even the mechanics I took it to are mystified by it.

Is it a light sounding noise?I have heard the seals on the rack and pion where the shaft comes to connect the steering column make noise on those. If it's that then I wouldn't worry about the noise.

Its a hard noise to explain but its really annoying so I'd like to figure it out. I've never changed my power steering fluid. Could the fluid just need to be replaced?

No dirty fluid won't cause noises like that if it's the noise Iam thinking of it would be costly to fix replacing the rack and pion. Does it sound like it up by the steering wheel or down by your pedals?
