Starts idles for a couple seconds and shuts off, code P1282

Truck was originally a six cylinder changed over to a v8. Now it will start and idle for about two seconds and then shuts off. Scan revealed a p1282 code. I replaced the fuel relay circuit, still does same thing starts idles for a couple seconds then shuts off. Help me please.

That code is for the fuel pump relay circuit. Can I ask if the security light is flashing when you try to start it or while it is running? It sounds like the computer is cutting the trigger. Can you bypass the relay to see if does it runs?
