I replaced ignition switch and battery. I tried several times to reset pass-lock system with no results.

Is the theft light remaining on? I attached the info about this system. If the theft light is remaining on then we need to check for codes and see if there is something specific that it is telling us is the issue.

Let me know if there are codes and we can go from there. Thanks

Hi, yes the theft light is on constantly. I do not have access to retrieve any codes.
I even went to dealer for new key and have same result.

Okay. Unfortunately the next step I think needs to be finding out if we have codes. If the light is on constantly then it is seeing an issue that it is disabling the vehicle. Without this, we are just guessing at which component could be causing it. If you can get to a parts store they will do it for free.

Sorry we don't have a better direction but I suspected that light was on so we need to know why and getting codes is really the only way.

Hi, I had a friend stop tonight and checked for any codes and none we present. We left key on for 15 minutes and pass-lock light never went out.

I was worried about that. This means we are going to need a scan tool capable of communicating with the BCM and looking at live data to see if the ignition switch state is changing when you turn the key. If the BCM is not seeing this then it will not deactivate the system. It will not set any codes because it doesn't know anything is wrong. At this point, it could be the switch, BCM, or ECM. It is in what is called full lock out mode. You sitting with the key in the on position for 15 minutes should unlock it but again, if the BCM is not seeing the switch state change then it will not unlock it.

Sorry I don't have better news but if you don't have this scan tool we are going to need to get a shop involved that can do this.
