Where is the starter located?

The starter is located on at the front of the engine facing the cooling fan assembly where the engine and transaxle are joined. It is in the same location for all engine applications. It can be a bit hard to see from the top with the coolant hoses and wiring harnesses in the way. I have attached an image for the 1.5l engine that should help give you the general location. The 2.0 and 2.5 are basically the same.
