Hello! I'd really appreciate some help. The temperature gauge has suddenly stopped working. My brother, also a Felicia owner, says he thinks it's the temperature sensor gone, and said buy another one (There's one for  £7 on ebay) and fit it myself - dead easy! Could it be anything else other than this, or shall I go ahead and buy one?
Thank you!

Check the coolant temp SENDER. This send signal to dash display the SENSOR sends signals to the PCM/Fans etc.
