I need to permanently disconnect my side airbags because I am converting the cargo van -high top - into my home. I understand that the battery needs to be disconnected at the negative terminal for five minutes first. I can then disconnect the power, but I then want to make sure the rest of the airbags still work. I am told I can create a bypass. Do you have any information on this option?

Your help is much appreciated.

We can't answer this question anything to do with bypassing a air bag. That's a federal issue and liability issue as well.Sorry about that.
