I maintain my car very well but recently going up a hill I regularly do to get home my car started shaking bad like if it wanted to shut off on me. It shakes if I am going uphill over 3 or 4 rpm's and when I come to stop. I got home and let it cool off. Turned it on later and my car shut off sitting still a few times. I do not know what to do, help please!

Before you go looking for the hard stuff, this is typical of any engine that has not had the spark plugs and wires replaced for regular maintenance. I would start with the normal tune-up stuff first.

Here is a guide that will help you get the job done

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers

If you were reading diagnostic fault codes, they never say to replace parts or that one is bad. What exact code numbers did you get?

Yes I know that the most likely codes were to replace the spark plugs and distributor cap n rotor. I didnt do spark wires, could that be the issue?

Yes, I would do the wires becasue they can cause the engine to misfire just as the spark plugs,

Please let us know what happens.
