Security lock reset

Car will not start (security). I have used the unlock procedure sometimes works, but I wondered if it would help if I had a key fob to unlock car or would it make any difference?

The key fob has nothing at all to do with the Passlock immobilizer system. If it keeps happening, you may need a new ignition switch with the sensor but you should have it diagnosed properly by a competent tech.

Okay thanks. Is it possible to deactivate or remove the anti theft? I mean who would steal an eighteen year old car

No, it is incorporated right into the operating system.
