2003 Saturn Vue service light and brake light come on and t

Service light comes on "sometimes" after starting and driving a few miles. Brake light sometimes comes with the service light. Had gas cap checked and brakes checked (front and back). No problems with either.

Have not gone to a mechanic - wanted to get your opinion first.

Basically - what is the service light + brake light trying to indicate?

I would check ur brake fluid level in ur master cyclinder. Also need u to go to a auto parts store like autozone and bring me back the code numbers to help u with why the service light is comming on. Let me know.
