Hello, I just went out to get in my car and noticed a puddle under it. I popped the hood and I can see where the leak is coming from (I've included pictures). Is this just condensation from the air conditioning / heating system? Or is it something that I really need to worry about?

I should add that I am in Texas, where we have just had two days of freezing or below temperatures, whereas today it has finally gotten into the 50s I believe. So is this something just thawing out?

I did drive the car earlier for about an hour, and I used the heater / defroster while I was driving.

Thanks!

You have nothing to worry about, that is the the water draining from the a/c. It's just water and condinsation. This is normal every vehicle does it. (Good pictures by the way, they were helpful)

Thank you Brian, that's exactly what I thought. I am used to seeing *some* condensation on the ground with this car but not usually this much at one time. This is quite a bit more than what I usually see.

I am a little paranoid with this vehicle right now, because I just had the transmission replaced for the second time and I am in the process of trying to sell or trade in this vehicle. I went out and saw that huge puddle and was afraid it was transmission fluid.

Thanks again. Have a happy holiday!
