Lately I've been getting this vibrating in the steering when I reach speeds around 70-ish. It vibrates for about 8-10 seconds, then fades away. Then about 30 seconds later will vibrate again, which lasts for about 8-10 seconds. Not sure what's causing this. I don't see any uneven wear on the tires, so I'm not sure if there's an alignment problem (the issue is relatively new, so perhaps not enough time to show weear if that's the issue).

The first thing I would check is the wheel balance and tire's always check the easiest thing first then once the easiest thing is ruled out then I would check other thing's like a wheel bearing's front end etc. Or you could jack it up and put the front end on jack stand's and do a quick once over and see if anything feel's loose then have the wheel balance checked.
