Hello, I have a 98 saturn sl2 and I have made several repairs within the last month on it, and now my car is making a strange noise, my dad and boyfriend think it is the water pump. The water pump has leaked some in the past but not a lot, and I just recently had the radiator replaced. Is it possible to need a new water pump even though my car isn't over heating and it is currently not leaking coolant? Also is it normal for the water pump to make a noise upon going out?

A waterpump will usually cause a very loud noise when it is failing. The bearings inside of the pump is what makes the unusual noise. Eventually it will also begin leaking coolant. Since I can't personally listen to your engine I can't say for certain that it is your waterpump, but I can say that they DO make a noise when they begin to fail and they do NOT necessarily have to leak coolant to be faulty.
