Hi guys, just bought a 98 Saturn sl2 from the auction. Knew it needed work when I got it but for the price why not. Thought the fuel pump was bad but then I was told that without spark the fuel pump would not work. Pulled all the wires and sure enough there is no spark in any of the wires. What could be causing this problem and where do I start looking? Thanks.

I haven't heard of no spark no fuel pressure before when u turn the key on to the run postion ur fuel pump should run for like 5 seconds to build fuel pressure u should be able to hear the fuel pump relay come on too then turn off. As far as no spark I would start with the crank sensor do u have a volt ohm meter if u do I'll tell u how to test it. Let me know.
