1998 Saturn SL2 car whipers

I have a 1998 sl2 saturn. My whipers are not working correctly. The driver side whiper does not work at all sometimes or whipes too slow or weak to keep up with the passenger side one. This results in the whipers sometimes getting jammed by the passenger side one.

So the pass side wiper works ok? Sounds like the post that the drivers side wiper mounts on may be stripped, possibly by soemone pulling on it. You will need to remove the cover and see if the nut is loose where the arm mounts, if it is tight you may need a new wiper arm, it is usually the part that gets stripped out
