1996 Saturn SL2 Manual

I have a 96 SL2. It runs rough when I start it up. While I'm sitting at a stoplight and try to take off when releasing the clutch and pressing on gas the RPM's go all the way down and the car has stalled. If I press on the gas first and get the RPM's high enough then it doesn't stall.

First thing I would do is go to a auto part's store like auto zone and see if you have any codes. If you do let me know the numbers. You could have a bad coolant temp sensor pretty common for them to go bad.

I emailed you the trouble tree for code p0113 it's for you inlet air temp sensor it's located in the end of your air intake tube.I would start by fixing that it's probably the reason why your car is running so poorly. As far as your code p0304 cylinder 4 miss fire I would inspect your coil tower's for corrosion. Also inspect your spark plug's for being worn and having black carbon where the spark plug wire meet's the plug's.
