Transmission problem
1995 Saturn SL2 4 cyl Automatic 89,000 miles

This is going to be a long one and I am going to try and remember everything that happened to my car to the best of my abiility.

At first I experienced a popping noise when the car was shifting into reverse. I took it to get fixed, then it Overheated when I was sitting in traffic one day. I was told it could be the Temperature Sensor, but if I recall what happened correctly I ended up getting a new PCM. Then my car had issues going into Overdrive; again I took it to the shop. At first I was told it was something electrical. I was then told to change the O2 Sensor. Later on after going to the shop for a third or fourth time, I changed the Temperature Sensor as my car was still having problems slipping while I was driving. THEN, I experienced more problems driving it on the highway driving at speeds over 55MPH; again I went to the shop. I am now told I need to replace the Valve Body and the Neutral Safety Switch. I have been experiencing problems with my Transmission since April 2010 and have taken it to the shop (my car is under warranty) about six times. What is wrong with my car?

The only code I know my car was getting was 11 or something like that. That's what my cousin said, the shop did not tell me all of the codes. The car is going into reverse fine right now, it is just having problems with highway driving. My boyfriend's cousin also works on transmissions and said that he thought it could be a Torque Converter. Does that make sense? I am pretty clueless when it comes to cars!

I posted how to get code's without a scan tool see what code's you have and let me know what number's you have.Code 11 means you have transmission code's.A torque converter doesn't make sense they rarely ever go out on your car.Let me know what code's you have.
