I just replaced the front calipers and pads (both sides). I bled the brakes and topped up the fluid but now the brakes bottom out. When I press hard to the floor the brakes skid. Do I need to bleed them again, I must be missing something.

If you bleed all the air out of your brake's to make the make pedal firmer you need to clean and adjust your rear brake's. That will make all the difference in the world.

If you haven't bled all four wheel's you going to want to do that. Before you adjust the rear brake's.
