2001 Saturn SL1 service engine soon light

2001 Saturn SL1 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

About 3-4 weeks ago I got my oil change and they reset the "change oil soon" sensor. Since then my "service engine soon" light has been coming off and on. It will be on for 3-5 days and then go off for a while. It was on this morning, I stopped and got gas. When I started the car back up the "service engine soon" light was off. Could it have anything to do with being low on fuel. I can't remember in the past how much gas I had when it was on/ off. I will have to wait and see when it comes on again.

Have to get the PCM scanned for codes
stop by the auto zone or any local part store
most local shop will be able to scan it for you and get the codes out
let me know what you have for codes
