I have 2000 saturn sl w/ a manual transmission. Jus two days ago my ignition and steering locked up on me, i tried jiggling it around and cranking on the wheel while tryin to turn the key and no success. Went to the saturn dealership today and started by getting a new key...no success.
I inevitably ended up having to get a new ignition cylinder and housing and installed it. It will now turn over and start, but then dies shortly after. I checked the spark plugs and they spark when I hold them to a ground and the fuel pump is pumping fuel because when I loosened it from the throttle body and tried starting it, fuel bled through. I tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it...nothing. Fuses are all good, but after removing them and putting them back in my rpm/ fuel/oil pressure gauges stopped working.
So im at my whits end and dont know what to do. Im guessing the computer may need to be reset, but I cant find where its located...any advice?
