1995 Saturn SL1 1st gear hard to shift into

Recently 1st gear has become very difficult to shift into, my car has the 5-speed manual trans. It shifts fine into every other gear and I changed the trans fluid about a year ago. This started about a week ago while on a long road trip. I can only shift into 1st when I double clutch.

If u only have a problem getting into one gear then u have a problem inside the transmission with that one gear like a bad syncronizer or blocker ring. Let me know if u have anymore questions.

My saturn stopped going into 1st gear easily and after a while, it stopped going into any gear easily. Turns out it was a clutch oil leak. Added clutch oil (brake fluid) and got the leak fixed and it shifts fine now.
