2002 Saturn SC2 cooling fan

My sc2 over heats unless the ac is on. The cooling fan will only come on with the ac on. I replaces the coolant temp sensor below the water neck and still doesnt work. What else can I do?

When u replace the coolant temp sensor did u inspect the connector for corrosion if it's corroded it will have to be replaced that could give the PCM the incorrect temp. Also how do u know it's over heating does it boil over and out of the coolant bottle cap?What does the temp gauge read when it's over heating?
