Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Saturn SC2 4 cyl Automatic

I need to know how to change the idler pulley and not the tensioner pulley. For some reason none of my manuals refer to this. 1999 SC2 I.9L

First of all thank you so much for the donation. There pretty easy to change. Here's what you do get a floor jack put a piece of wood on the head of the floor jack. Then slide the floor jack under the oil pan of the engine jack the floor jack up againist the oil pan so it's resting tightly againist it. Then remove the five 15mm nut's from the upper engine mount then jack the jack up enough to remove the mount. Then jack the engine up as far as you can slowly when the engine stops moving stop jacking it up. Now get a wrench and push down on the belt tenisor and pull the belt off the alternator only. Now take the 13mm bolt out of the idler remove and replace it. Do the step's in reverse order and your done. Let me know how it goes.
