Brakes problem
1996 Saturn SC2 4 cyl Manual

Please can you help? We cannot decompress the caliper piston with a C clamp so we can't get the rear disc brakes in. We've tried bleeding the fluid and it still won't budge. Front brakes decompressed just fine but rears won't move.

Hello and thanks for the donation!

You have to use a piston driver to rotate the piston clockwise until it bottoms in the caliper bore. Check your local auto part stores for the tool.

Sorry it wasn't a bigger donation. I knew it was either a twist type or clamp type, but I didn't have the tool. And the fronts just pushed. I'll get one after payday and finish the job, pistion driver. Thank you sooooo much.
